Khao San Road: don't get the fascination with eating bugs (grasshoppers, scorpions etc)
Stop over in Bangkok to ‘ease into’ Asia and arrange Vietnamese visas. Visited Khao San Road (but thankfully didn’t stay there) and it hasn’t changed a bit.
