Two weeks through Milan, Venice, Florence and Tuscany, then south to Sorrento and Positano before finishing in Rome.

I've never been a fan of posting personal photos but this trip is to be different. Travelling with my darling Jenna, I am going to give it a shot and hopefully post a few snaps here, in this modern day photo album, along the way. After all, it's the personal photos that stand the test of time; the ones that you return to over and over again, improving with age and stirring good memories.
Sightseeing session (not a training session) recorded with my Garmin Forerunner 910XT - so happy I took it with me.
Great way to get perspective on where you've travelled and the areas you've covered. Our morning walk through Venice gets us nearly 13km as we wander in wonderment.

Beautiful Duomo in Milan. And, Jen is clearly the natural and better photographer judging by these two photos.

Florence invites us to explore and experience its quaint beauty.

We love this town!

Explore, walk, run, eat, eat and eat cheap, tasty and simple Italian food. Perched up high atop Cortona we admire views of the surrounds and absorb the tranquility of this little town.

One of the great things about travelling is the time it affords you to read book after book, especially on those long train/bus trips. Jen, the secret bookworm, has read about twenty. I just finished Born to Run: read it and you will be going for a run at the end of every chapter.
